Jodie Whittaker's Thirteenth Doctor Makes her Radio Times Cover Debut

The latest issue of the Radio Times finally gives us more details on Doctor Who Series 11, and features Jodie Whittaker as the Thirteenth Doctor on the front cover.
Bear in mind that Series 11 isn’t set to air until Autumn 2018, most likely October, this is an impressive coup for the show – especially considering there doesn’t seem to have been much collaboration between RT and the series during Peter Capaldi’s era. And let’s not forget that the Radio Times is no longer associated with the BBC anymore, so don’t actually need to promote a show that’s not set to begin for about 3 months…
Still, it’s in RT’s interests because we’re sure Who fans lap up any TV listings… particularly as there’s been so little news about the upcoming season.
The issue, dated 21- 27th July 2018, promises:

  • Behind-the-scenes secrets from new showrunner, Chris Chibnall;
  • Meet the new TARDIS team Bradley Walsh, Mandip Gill, and Tosin Cole;
  • Brand-new shots of series 11’s cast;
  • An exclusive Jodie Whittaker Radio Times photoshoot.

Plus Whittaker talks about being the first female Doctor and how she hid that secret from the world!
The latest Radio Times is out now (17th July 2018), priced £2.80.
