We’re just 10 days away from the launch of this year’s big comic book event from Titan: The Lost Dimension. And in comes the news that River Song is due to front two special comics that form the fifth and seventh parts of the story (alongside other special guest stars).
The Lost Dimension is set to unfold across 8 different issues, and sees four incarnations of the Doctor – the Ninth, Tenth, Eleventh, and Twelfth – face a terrifying foe: The Void itself…
“The Void has always existed: ‘No place. The silent realm. The lost dimension.’ But the Void is no longer empty. The Void is hungry, and devouring our universe – through time and space. Now, the four Doctors must join forces to save…everything!”
The debut issue of The Lost Dimension is written by Nick Abadzis, Cavan Scott, and George Mann, and illustrated by Rachael Stott and Rod Fernandes. Two interlude issues will further embroil River Song, Jenny (aka. the Doctor’s daughter), and the Fourth Doctor.
The first, which forms the fifth part of the event, is out on 20th September – written by Katy Rex, Gordon Rennie, and Emma Beeby, with art by Iolanda Zanfardino, Wellington Diaz, and Ivan Rodriguez.
Doctor Who: The Lost Dimension Special #2 is the penultimate part of the story, with the same creative team as the first Special. Here’s the solicitation:
“The truth behind the unforgettable journey of Jenny, the Doctor’s daughter, revealed!
How did the Fourth Doctor get entangled in the machinations of the void?
And River Song goes her own way, even as the universe falls apart around her!”
