#FollowFriday: Mark Sheppard

As a wise girl once said, “It’s Friday, Friday, gotta follow some Doctor Who-related folk on Friday.” I am, of course, paraphrasing Rebecca Black, and yes, you’re disgusted, I’m disgusted, we’re all a little disgusted. But let’s just carry on with our lives as if that never happened.
But it really is Friday, which is our chance to explore the manifolds of Twitter, and as it’s “Side Trips” Week at the DWC – our chance to recommend other shows we think Doctor Who fans will love – this week’s #FollowFriday is dedicated to a man who’s been in Doctor Who, but is also in another show with a huge fandom: Supernatural.
Yep, it’s Canton Everett Delaware III himself, Mark Sheppard!
You’ll know Sheppard from The Impossible Astronaut/ Day of the Moon (2011), playing Canton, a character who we’d really like to come back one day. He’s already said he’d be up for returning. SOMEONE GET MOFFAT ON THE PHONE.
He’s a big noise when it comes to science fiction and “telefantasy” drama, having appeared in Battlestar Galactica, The X-Files, Star Trek, and Firefly. But, obviously aside from Doctor Who, his most notable role is Crowley in Supernatural, a part he’s played since 2009. And yep, much of his Twitter feed is dedicated to it. Still, there’s plenty about charitable causes, and conventions he attends too!

He’s also a great drummer.

But really, the number 1 reason to follow him is his words of wisdom.

Heh. Okay, so maybe this…

Follow Mark @Mark_Sheppard.
