If you’re anywhere near Cardiff this next week, i.e. from today until 11th August 2023, you can pop over to check out the range of titles from Candy Jar Books at a special summer stall.
And you might just meet some of the authors there too!
The Hayes in Cardiff, i.e. the filming location for a number of Doctor Who episodes like Rose and Voyage of the Damned, is hosting an array of stalls, including Candy Jar, whose pop-up shop will have a number of novels, picture books, and non-fiction books available to buy.
There’s a large range of children’s books and young adult titles, alongside, you guessed it, some Doctor Who-related tomes like The Lucy Wilson Mysteries, a franchise starring the granddaughter of Brigadier Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart.
Oh, and there will be copies of 100 Objects of Doctor Who, written by myself; similarly, you’ll find UNIT: The Benton Files III, which features a short story by me. Though I’m not sure yet which day it’ll be, I hope to be at the stall sometime this week signing books and generally flogging my wares, so do pop along and say hello if you see me. Or if you see publisher and Candy Jar founder, Shaun Russell, who is manning the stall, alongside various writers, across the whole week.
If you can’t make it, you can still order and pre-order titles from the Candy Jar website now.
Candy Jar Books’ summer stall can be found in the Hayes, Cardiff, from today until Friday 11th August 2023.
