TikTok star, Nathan Evans, has teamed up with the Doctor Who crew to produce a special sea shanty to publicise the next episode, Legend of the Sea Devils — which airs tonight!

Evans’ catchy/irritating, depending on your general mood, ditties have often made the 27-year-old singer go viral on the video-sharing platform. TikTok, which is best described as a thing, is filled with short clips of people doing sometimes amazing and sometimes idiotic stuff, and is a bit like the love-child of Vine and Snapchat. If you’ve not heard of Evans, he’s pretty big and has appeared on shows like Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, Lorraine, and Dancing on Ice.

So actually, considering the aquatic nature of tonight’s story, this is a neat bit of marketing.
