You Can Now Watch Doctor Who, Torchwood, and The Sarah Jane Adventures on HBO Max

The first 11 seasons of NuWho – that is, Doctor Who (2005- present) – are available to watch on the new American streaming service, HBO Max, as are spin-offs, Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures!

HBO Max launched earlier this week, with hundreds of episodes across much-loved TV franchises. This includes every episode of NuWho from Rose to The Battle of Ranskoor Av Kolos, featuring the Ninth, Tenth, Eleventh, Twelfth, and Thirteenth Doctors, as played by Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant, Matt Smith, Peter Capaldi, and Jodie Whittaker.

The service also includes every episode of Doctor Who‘s longest-running spin-offs, Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures: these two programmes starred, for instance, John Barrowman, Eve Myles, Naoko Mori, Elisabeth Sladen, Daniel Anthony, Anjli Mohindra, David Tennant, Matt Smith, Peter Capaldi, and Freema Agyeman, plus many more.

Kevin Reilly, Chief Content Officer, HBO Max, says:

Doctor Who is one of television’s all-time, most beloved series, on both sides of the pond, and we are happy to be the exclusive streaming stewards for this BBC gem. Another series to further define the high-quality content experience consumers can expect from HBO Max.”

HBO Max further boasts 700 episodes of popular BBC shows such as The Office, Top Gear, Luther, and The Honorable Woman. This is in addition to HBO library titles, like The Sopranos, Game of Thrones, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and Friends.

Where should you start? Well, Rose is the natural place! If you haven’t seen The Sarah Jane Adventures, we highly recommend it, as well as Torchwood: Children of Earth. We further suggest:
