Twelfth Doctor actor, Peter Capaldi has teamed up with The National Brain Appeal’s Emergency Care Fund and writer, Frank Cottrell Boyce. This is in an effort to raise money for staff on the frontline at The National Hospital – and those patients who are most in need at this time.
In this lovely video, Capaldi reads a section from Runaway Robot by Frank Cottrell Boyce, a children’s book published last year.
We’re pretty sure Capaldi’s reading of Eric is heavily inspired by similar robotic creations from Doctor Who.
Of course, Capaldi starred in two Who serials by Cottrell Boyce: In the Forest of the Night and Smile, respectively from Series 8 and 10.
