An upcoming book will shed light on the Peter Cushing Doctor Who movies, Dr Who and the Daleks and Daleks’ Invasion Earth 2150 A.D.

The two films, which swapped William Hartnell for Peter Cushing as the First Doctor (and made him a human who’d invented a Tardis, which looks like his shed), were hugely popular, but are often overlooked in the history of Doctor Who, probably due to the fact they’re not considered “canon”. Nonetheless, this tome will right that wrong, promising new interviews and behind-the-scenes details, finally giving the Cushing stories the focus they deserve.
