The two most recent Thirteenth Doctor stories will be released on DVD and Blu-ray next month in the UK and in June in America.
Eve of the Daleks and Legend of the Sea Devils were the New Year’s Day and Easter specials, respectively, both written by outgoing showrunner, Chris Chibnall, though the latter was co-written by Doctor Who newcomers, Ella Road too.
The stories star Jodie Whittaker as the Thirteenth Doctor, Mandip Gill as Yasmin Khan, and John Bishop as Dan Lewis. Here are the synopses and bonus features for the upcoming release:
Eve of the Daleks
Welcome to the New Year’s Eve from hell. Sarah is working – again. Nick is her only customer – again. Same old, same old. Except this year, their countdown to midnight will be the strangest and deadliest they’ve ever known. Why is an Executioner Dalek targeting these two people, in this place, on this night? Why are they having to live through the same moments over and over? Can the Doctor, Yaz and Dan save them and will everybody survive into the New Year?
Legend of the Sea Devils
Swashbuckle your seatbelts – the Doctor is back for an action-packed adventure as she comes face to fin with one of her oldest adversaries: the Sea Devils! Beneath the oceans of the 19th century lurk terrifying forces. Why has legendary pirate queen Madam Ching come searching for a lost treasure in a remote coastal village?
The Doctor, Yaz and Dan must battle deadly sea monsters, flying pirate ships and a plan that will threaten the entire planet, in Jodie Whittaker’s penultimate story as the Doctor.

We don’t know who provides the audio commentaries on the episodes.
But will you buy the set? Or wait for another collection which includes the Thirteenth Doctor’s as-yet-unnamed swansong, due to air on TV in Autumn 2022? That’s got to be inevitable, right?
Either way, the Eve of the Daleks/ Legend of the Sea Devils DVD and Blu-ray will be released on 23rd May 2022 in the UK, and 28th June 2022 in the USA.
